PROGRAM 02 · WATER INFRASTRUCTURE
Solar-Powered Water Tank Cover Monitoring
A water infrastructure development program for water storage tanks, currently in development and testing.
Problem
Manual tank checks give limited visibility of shortage, overflow and open covers.
Asset
Water storage tanks
Technology
Sensing: Water level, cover state, overflow switch, temperature and power health.
Shared with JETEX AI: telemetry contracts, device identity, event history, dashboard patterns and operator workflows.
Intended customer
Facilities managers at estates, hotels, schools, hospitals, factories and farms.
Customer categories only. No named customers, deployments or partnerships are claimed.
How it works
- Sense
Water level, cover state, overflow switch, temperature and power health.
- Edge
Proposed local quality checks, event logic and a durable queue. Product-specific sensing and power requirements determine the configuration.
- Connect
Proposed LTE connectivity with authenticated MQTT over TLS. Actual site coverage and device compatibility require verification.
- Cloud
Proposed telemetry ingestion, asset history, device health and event records.
- Analyze
Review tank history, investigate unusual drawdown and coordinate maintenance.
- Alert & act
Advisories are intended to support acknowledgement, investigation and documented work orders. People make the operational decisions.
Proposed architecture. Functions and instruments remain subject to engineering verification.
Current stage
IN TESTING Prototype step on the JE TEX readiness scale, with equipment now in field testing. Demonstrations are available on request. Readiness advances to the next step only with supporting test records, and this program is not presented as commercially available.
Readiness: Prototype / In testing
Next milestone: Complete field testing of solar-powered water level, cover state and overflow monitoring on storage tanks, document the results, and arrange demonstrations for interested facilities managers.
Solar-powered monitoring architecture with a protected energy-storage system. Pump control is outside this program and belongs to Product 09. Cover state does not establish drinking-water safety.
JE TEX development hardware is non-certified and informational only. It is not presented as a safety device, life-safety system, certified gas detector or compliant instrument. Hazardous-area measurement uses certified instruments installed by competent personnel.
Engineering baseline: 29 September 2026. Proposed scope and next steps, not field-performance claims.
PILOT / PROOF OF CONCEPT
Discuss a pilot.
This program is in testing, and we're now lining up pilot partners. Contact us to arrange a demonstration. Any pilot is subject to engineering verification, site and safety review, and agreed acceptance criteria.
